Shytoshi Kusama Blasts "Fudders" and Defends Shiba Inu Progress

In a fiery and impassioned episode of the Limited Edition podcast, Shytoshi Kusama, the visionary behind the Shiba Inu ecosystem, launched a scathing attack on critics he labeled as “fudders” (those spreading fear, uncertainty, and doubt). Kusama passionately defended the project’s progress, cited impressive statistics, and vowed to prove naysayers wrong.

Shiba Inu in 2024: A Leading Crypto Asset

The limited edition podcast, titled “Meme Mania and the 36 Chambers of Tech,” which aired first on Shib: The Metaverse, saw Kusama address what he described as a constant barrage of negativity despite Shiba Inu’s significant achievements. He highlighted the following:

  • 2024 Performance: Shiba Inu is currently the number 2 performing crypto asset in 2024.
  • Search Popularity: The cryptocurrency was one of the top one or two most searched cryptos globally in 2023.
  • Market Cap: It holds a top-10 market capitalization position when excluding stablecoins.
  • E-Token Status: Shiba Inu is positioned as the number one e-token in the world.

Kusama Challenges Critics, Rejects Fraud Allegations

“How dare you?” Kusama exclaimed, directly addressing his critics. “We worked hard to make this a success. People put in endless hours.” He decried the negative impact of the FUD on the community and team, stating, “You have destroyed many of our lives.”

Kusama rejected claims of mismanagement and “rug pulls,” emphasizing the decentralized nature of Shiba Inu and the efforts of its global team. “You think that we just took the funds from a wallet and put it in our pocket and didn’t pay payroll?”

He questioned the motives of those spreading negativity, suggesting they were doing so to buy at the bottom, manipulate the price of Bone, or even promote scam projects. He also urged these individuals to use their technical skills for positive purposes instead of defrauding the community.

Shiba Inu: A Commitment to Growth

The podcast episode wasn’t solely a rant; it also included a forward-looking message of determination. Kusama admitted, “There’s a lot more that needs to be done, and there’s things that we can do better.”

Concluding the episode, Kusama acknowledged a friend’s perspective that “fame is built on FUD” and declared that the project would use this criticism as a driver. “Go right ahead and watch me prove you wrong,” he declared, vowing to showcase the Shiba Inu ecosystem’s success.

The episode comes at a time of increased volatility and scrutiny in the cryptocurrency space. Shiba Inu, initially launched as a meme coin, has been working to transform itself into a more robust decentralized ecosystem.
